I've used it to commute with a business suit worn underneath and for a little touring from Gloucestershire up to the Scottish Highlands and the suit excels in both roles. I bought this new from Aerostich and paid the import duty. The fact that they have hardly changed the design in over a decade speaks volumes. This suit is used and could to with a light clean counter to the cult view that a dirty Roadcrafter adds credibility! It is 100% functionally fit for purpose and will come with an Aerostich zipped wallet that velcro to the arm. Please ask as many questions as you want. I'm 6 foot tall. Suit is designed to fit well when sat on a BMW GS style bike (cuffs ended just beyond my wrists when arms stretched forward to the handlebars and so fitted nicely under my gloves).
I've also used it regularly on my R1300S and had no problems with reach or with the hem of the legs riding up with sports bike style bent knees. I bought the Roadcrafter to fit over a fleece in the winter and it works perfectly in that configuration. The elastic sewn into the waistline and the velcro tabs do an excellent job of preventing any flapping during the summer months.
